Hitting a Wall

I always said I would never be the infertile who became pregnant and then complained about being pregnant. I am not going to complain per se but I do have to say I am very uncomfortable right now. It has all happened in the last two days. I have a baby (or two) up in my right ribs and it is very painful. I am having trouble breathing and sleeping. I've tried to nudge them down and got a swift kick (oh they are so our children being stubborn like that). Every time I think about the pain I'm in I tell myself that it is sooo worth it and the longer these babies stay inside me the better so I suck it up and relish in the thought that within the next 10 weeks, we will be parents to three beautiful babies and for that we are eternally grateful!

OMG, within 10 weeks!!!

Thanks for listening!

My next u/s is Tuesday for a cervical check, glucose screening, and a peak at the babies:)

You aren't complaining about being pregnant! You are complaining (although I don't think you are) because you are uncomfortable! There is a big difference! You have three babies in there!! It's ok to "complain"!!

Jessa

I'm totally with you on that. I always said the same thing about not complaining when I did finally get pregnant. It is extremely uncomfortable and I'm ready to not be pregnant anymore, but like you said, every day that these babies remain inside is absolutely crucial. We can do it. Hang in there! :-)

I absolutely understand. I don't think you are complaining. AND, within the last three days or so the exact same thing has happened to me! Baby Brianna (baby B) has positioned her head (and every other body part she can!) in and underneath my right ribs. I agree - it's very uncomfortable! Nudging hasn't worked for me either!
Just keep telling yourself that it will all be worth it when your beautiful babies get here!! You're doing a great job momma!! Hang in there!

Hang in there. Like you said, 10 weeks is just around the corner. If it makes you feel any better, my kiddo is breech and plays soccer with my bladder & cervix... fun times

Girl, you have every right to complain about being uncomfortable! It hurts! I can so relate since it was only a few months ago I was in your place. My "baby C" Lucas would get up under my ribs and he would raise up his head- it felt like he was going to come out of my skin! Owwwww!

Being pregnant with multiples gives you a right to complain, LOL- it isn't easy! I totally remember those days. The only good thing is that when the babies come, you are already completely used to not getting any sleep:) Hang in there!

I totally hear ya! I am 26 weeks pregnant with only twins and I already feel uncomfortable. Hang in there!!!

just because we are IF doesn't mean we have to be pregnancy martyrs! You are KU with three babies mama, you are allowed to say that you are uncomfortable. I hope the next ten weeks fly by for you and that the little stinker (or stinkers as it may be) in your rib cage scoot down a bit and give you some relief!
