I have more hope right now than I have in a LONG time. My oncologist sent the letter to my RE saying I could do this EPP cycle. I started AF this week so tomorrow I go in for my CD3 b/w and then am ready to go! I am having irrational thoughts though that if we actually get embies (we've never gotten them the last 2 cycles we've done) I will want to transfer them and not chance the freezing process.
In AWESOME news, a very good friend, I'm not going to mention her name in case she doesn't want me to, is giving me her RX for Gonal F that will be shipped to my house since she can't use her script. I cannot even tell you how grateful I am to this person (you know who you are). Not only is she amazing for doing this, but she's been so supportive for me during this whole process and understands what I'm going through. So I will now be saving several hundred dollars, if not a thousand. My IVF nurse said she could get me samples of other stuff so I'll only have to pay for Menopur. Could good things actually be happening?? Now let's get some EGGS!!

Yeah for good things finally happening for you! I can't think of ANYONE who deserves some good news, joy, and HOPE more than YOU! (Sorry for all my CAPS, I'm just feeling very passionate about this!)
Nothing would make me happier than to see you get some great embies to freeze/transfer. I don't blame you for considering transferring them, either. Maybe you can talk to your oncologist & RE about that depending on the quality of your embies? Can you ask your oncologist in advance just in case? I know cancer isn't something to mess around with, but is 9 months putting you at MUCH greater risk since you've already done radiation? Good food for thought, I guess.
For now, I'll just be praying for some mature eggs that turn into beautfil embies!!! So excited for you!!!!!
Oh, and I guess I can't spell 'beautiful'.
Wow, your friends met the Deadliest Catch fisherman? I didn't think they left Dutch Harbor...that had to be interesting to say the least. Can you imagine drinking with those guys? Hysterical!
Here's my question if you don't mind my asking: How much is TiVo/month after I buy the receiver thingy? DVR was going to be $20/month and that just seemed crazy after all the money we already give our cable company. It should be included dammit!
