First Freak Out

This morning I woke up to let the dogs out about 6:30AM and went to the bathroom. When I wiped there was brown discharge as if I was getting ready to start my period. I've read everywhere that unless you have bad cramps and it's bright red not to be concerned that it's normal. Well, even though I've read it over and over I still freaked out a bit. I got on the message boards and called the on call nurse who said everything was fine and especially with IVF conceptions she sees spotting as late as 16 weeks with multiples. I felt better and went back to bed. The brown seems to be all but gone now. She said I could call tomorrow and see if they could fit me in for a viability u/s (which I think I might do). If I had an u/s next week or the week after I probably wouldn't but I'm freaked about having to wait for 3 weeks.

I'm off to shop with my mom this afternoon since I can hardly fit into any of my clothes anymore. I look like I am about 4-5 months pregnant right now (NO JOKE). The book I just got said it's normal for triplet moms to look like they are 3 months ahead of where they are. I have not gained any weight though and I need to gain 35 pounds by the time I get to 24 weeks! I will take a pic of me next week at 9 weeks and you ladies can see how huge my tummy is.

Glad you're OK. Take it easy, though. And drink lots of water. :)

Em

Sorry you had that scare. Just take it easy and drink lots of water.

Sorry you had a freak-out, but glad everything points to normal :o) Yay for needing preggy clothes! Whoever thought of putting a giant elastic waist on pants was a genius!

Jacky

Rest and take it easy. I had spotting-- That baby is now 12 years old so try to rest easy.....

Hugs,
Jacky
