TV star?

My IVF nurse emailed me today and asked if I would be interested in interviewing with one of the RE's at the clinic for a new TV show that will be coming out in May called The.Fertility.Chase. It seems like it would be a TLC/Discovery Channel kind of show but I just think it is so cool that they want me to be a part of it. You can check out the website and let me know what you think.

I thought it looked great.

They told me to prepare with some basic questions:
1. Explain yours and your husband's fertility journey.
2. What was the most difficult thing about being infertile?
3. Explain what type of treatments you received. What was your overall experience having those treatments?
4. What was your experience with Dr S and his medical team like?
5. How does it feel that you have finally achieved a pregnancy? What are your hope and aspirations for your baby?

The first question alone my answer is almost a page and a half typed.
I was concerned about when it would air because we don't plan to tell anyone until May but she said it would air late May.

I feel like I am jinxing myself by accepting to do this, but I know that's just ridiculous.

One Week

I have never looked so forward to the vag cam as I am next Monday for our 1st u/s. I plan to take a half day since our appointment is at 9am but I was thinking that maybe I should take the whole day because if, heaven forbid, something is wrong I don't think I can go back to work. I just can't wait to see how many little ones are in there...those of you that voted 3, you're scaring me:) I know it could be a reality though since we did transfer three but for some reason I feel like it's 2...we'll see.

As for how I'm feeling...
I got a bit nauseous (no throwing up) today on the way to work. I think I should start taking a puke bag withme just in case.

The biggest thing (literally) is my boobs. They are huge and they HURT.

Other than that I am feeling great (knock on wood).

First Purchase

We went to Santa Fe this weekend and I couldn't resist buying this. I plan to put it in the baby's room (I know this is early but I thought it was perfect).

When to tell?

Nobody but my BF knows we even attempted to do this FET so this pregnancy will be a huge shocker to everyone (parents are going to be stunned). My question to those of you who are pregnant or had babies is, when did you tell people? We were thinking of telling out parents on Mother's Day (I will be 11 1/2 weeks). I just thought that would be such a cool present but if I am having twins I don't know if I can hide it for that long. I know you are never technically "safe" but when are you pretty safe that nothing will happen? Should we wait until 12 weeks?? It's such a hard secret to keep.

BTW, I created a ticker last night for the blog and put it up and ended up taking it down because I just don't feel ready. Weird?
